SK-NIC, a. s., is administrator of the top-level domain .sk, and provides registration of second-level domains under the ccTLD .sk. SK-NIC provides this service to registrars, users and holders of domains. SK-NIC obtained this position based on the nomination by the international organization called The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) which rightfully accredited SK-NIC as administrator for such kind of services. SK-NIC, a.s., in December of 2017 became part of the global group CentralNic based in London.
