Two senior associate promotions at CMS Bratislava
Bratislava – International law firm CMS continues to strengthen its local team of lawyers. Following the partner appointments of Petra Čorba Stark and Michal Huťan in May this year, CMS has promoted two more team members. Since the start of August, Martina Novysedláková and Dušan Predný have been made senior associates at CMS Bratislava.
Martina is a senior associate in the Litigation, Arbitration, Insurance and Employment team specialising mainly in employment, data protection and IP matters. She supports clients in drafting employment documentation and internal regulations as well as in providing day-to-day employment advice and advice on termination of employment, including the negotiation with employees and litigation matters. Martina also advises on data privacy and data protection matters, including internal investigations, trainings and compliance audits.
“We are a great team and Dušan and I are glad that we can be a part of it. CMS has a strong brand in CEE and it is good to see that our quality work contributes to its reputation,” said Martina. Martina graduated from Comenius University in Bratislava, where she also received a doctorate in law. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Trade Mark Law from Queen Mary, University of London.
Dušan is a senior associate in the Real Estate team at CMS in Bratislava. He mainly focuses on real estate transactions and construction projects. Additionally, he advises clients on corporate transactions, including the sale and acquisition of Slovak companies.
“Law and advocacy are amazing and bring new challenges every day. This new position creates space for closer interaction with clients giving Martina and I a better insight in their businesses not just from a legal point of view but particularly in their commercial objectives,” Dušan commented. Dušan obtained his Master of Law from Universitas Tyrnaviensis, Trnava, Slovakia.
