Dva dni plné informácií o aktuálnych témach, ale aj výzvach automobilového priemyslu – aj o tom bolo medzinárodné znalostné fórum NEWMATEC 2023. V sále rezonovali témy ako e-mobilita, Green deal, Fit for 55, a tiež veľmi diskutovaná téma konca spaľovacích motorov v EÚ v roku 2035.
Naša komora bola partnerom konferencie s takmer dvoma stovkami účastníkov, medzi nimi aj naši členovia. Skvelý úspech! Po prvý raz sme boli aj medzi spíkrami, a to na tému viac ako aktuálnu: Ako zvíťaziť v boji o zamestnancov v automotive/výrobnej oblasti a ako ich zapojiť do napĺňania cieľov ESG – v podaní spíkeriek Miroslavy Remenárovej, predsedníčky predstavenstva Britskej obchodnej komory a Tatiany Kačmárovej, Leadership & Talent Consultant.
A čo sa účastníci konferencie dozvedeli v našom bloku? Že britské aj slovenské firmy čelia nedostatku pracovnej sily. Slovenský trh práce v automobilovom priemysle je navyše vysoko konkurenčný. Mať správnych ľudí v správny čas na správnom mieste je kritickou súčasťou udržateľného podnikania, a že kľúčové je zamestnancov nielen prilákať, ale aj si ich udržať. Navyše, angažovanosť zamestnancov je rozhodujúca pre úspešné iniciatívy ESG. Zvyšovanie ESG IQ v tímoch ich inšpiruje a vedie k zlepšovaniu procesov vo firmách, čím sa posilní aj vzťah k zamestnávateľskej značke.
Ďakujeme za pozvanie organizátorovi, Zväzu automobilového priemyslu SR. Sme radi, že sme mohli byť partnerom konferencie. Tešíme sa na ďalší ročník, NEWMATEC 2024.
Two days full of information on current topics, but also the challenges of the automotive industry – this was also what the international knowledge forum NEWMATEC 2023 was about. The meeting room resonated with topics such as e-mobility, Green deal, Fit for 55, as well as the much-discussed topic of the end of combustion engines in the EU in 2035.
Our chamber was a partner of the conference with more than two hundred participants, including our members. Great success! For the first time, we were also among the speakers, on a more than current topic: How to win the battle for employees in the automotive/production area and how to involve them in fulfilling ESG goals – presented by speakers Miroslava Remenárová, the Chairwoman of the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce, and Tatiana Kačmárová, Leadership & Talent Consultant.
And what did the conference participants learn from our presentation? That both British and Slovak companies face a labor shortage. In addition, the Slovak labor market in the automotive industry is highly competitive. Having the right people at the right time in the right place is a critical part of a sustainable business, and that it is crucial not only to attract employees, but also to retain them. Additionally, employee engagement is critical to successful ESG initiatives. Increasing ESG IQ in teams inspires them and leads to the improvement of processes in companies, which also strengthens the relationship with the employer brand.
We thank the organizer – Association of the Automobile Industry of the Slovak Republic, for the invitation. We are glad that we could be a partner of the conference. We are looking forward to NEWMATEC 2024.
