Sme hrdí, že sme mohli podporiť krásny knižný projekt. Managing Director nášho člena, spoločnosti EXPANDTECH, a.s., Guido Longhitano, je autorom knihy ABOUT THE FUTURE – 51 príbehov žien pre budúcnosť zdravotníctva.
Kniha sa zaoberá témou, ktorá sa bytostne dotýka nás všetkých. Mapuje súčasnú pozíciu a dôležitosť zastúpenia žien v medicíne a zdravotníctve, a súčasne je aj výhľadom do budúcnosti. Kniha dáva hlas a tvár 51 silným a empatickým ženám, ktoré sú súčasne výnimočnými líderkami a vizionárkami. Ženám, ktoré sa ako prvé v histórii dostali na riadiace pozície: profesorkám, docentkám, lekárkam, sestričkám a manažérkam. Zámerom autora bolo vzdať úctu a uznanie všetkým ženám, ktoré zasvätili svoj život liečeniu a záchrane životov.
Prostredníctvom fotografií a príbehov inšpiratívnych žien kniha zachytáva podstatu ich práce a ich každodenné úsilie, z ktorého vyviera nádej na lepšiu budúcnosť
Kniha bola slávnostne uvedená do života 3. októbra 2022 na gala večeri v hoteli Bôrik v Bratislave za účasti ministra zdravotníctva Vladimíra Lengvarského.

We are proud to have been able to support a beautiful book project. Managing Director of our member, the EXPANDTECH, a.s. company, Guido Longhitano, is the author of the book ABOUT THE FUTURE – 51 stories of women for the future of healthcare.
The book deals with a topic that fundamentally affects all of us. It maps the current position and the importance of the representation of women in medicine and health care, and at the same time it is also a vision for the future. The book gives voice and face to 51 strong and empathetic women who are at the same time exceptional leaders and visionaries; to the women who were the first in history to reach management positions: professors, associate professors, doctors, nurses and managers. The author’s intention was to pay respect and recognition to all women who dedicated their lives to healing and saving lives.
Through photographs and stories of inspiring women, the book captures the essence of their work and their daily efforts, from which springs hope for a better future.
The book was ceremoniously brought to life on October 3, 2022, at a gala dinner at the Bôrik Hotel in Bratislava with the participation of Minister of Health, Vladimír Lengvarský.
