The EPRAVO Group s.r.o. publishing house, in cooperation with TREND weekly magazine, announced the 2018 winners of the 6th year of the Law Firm of the Year competition. Ružička Csekes has won the prestigious award in the main category – Domestic Law Firm – as well as in the Public Procurement category, for the sixth consecutive time. The award of the main prize in the Corporate Law category completes our Law Firm‘s hat-trick.
The formal award ceremony of the sixth year of the Law Firm of the Year competition was held yesterday, on 10 April 2018, at the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel in Bratislava. The competition serves to provide the local market with quality indicators to enable better orientation in key legal areas. This year has continued the tradition of awards being granted in thirteen legal area-focused categories, as well as in two main categories – the Law Firm of the Year – Domestic Law Firm and the Law Firm of the year – International Law Firm. Ružička Csekes has successfully defended its respectable leading position in this premium category for the sixth consecutive time, affirming its leading position amongst independent Slovak firms. The main prize is awarded to the law firm considered the most eminent one on the market, based on a comprehensive assessment performed on the basis of evaluators’ inputs, client references, as well as considering the number, value and importance of realized transactions.
Ružička Csekes Law Firm further received the ultimate award in two other categories. Our law firm scored first in the Public Procurement category for the sixth consecutive time, as well as taking the first place – for the second time – in the Corporate Law category.

The evaluation of the competing law firms was carried out by an independent evaluation panel, consisting of some 150 external evaluators, independent of the participants and the organizer, and from the representatives of the organizer as an independent entity conducting long-term legal market monitoring.
