27. mája 2022, Nitra: Nitriansky závod Jaguar Land Rover aktuálne vyrába pre zákazníkov v 127 krajinách prémiové vozidlá Land Rover Discovery, Defender 90 a 110 a úžitkový Defender Hard Top. Už 31. mája sa celosvetovo odhalí úplne nový model z rodiny Land Rover, 8-miestny Defender 130, ktorý sa bude taktiež vyrábať v Nitre.
O tejto novinke aj ďalších, ktoré s tým súvisia, sa vyjadril Russell Leslie, výkonný riaditeľ Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia a šéf závodu v Nitre: „Pokračujúci dopyt po našich produktoch a rozšírenie modelov, ktoré tu budeme vyrábať, vedú k posilneniu nášho tímu. Plánujeme ho zvýšiť o ďalších sedemsto zamestnancov a od septembra by sme tak zahájili trojzmennú prevádzku závodu.“ Celkovo by tak na jeseň v nitrianskom závode malo pracovať 4 500 ľudí.
Hlavná pozornosť sa pri nových pozíciách sústreďuje na miesta vo výrobných prevádzkach. Nové pracovné príležitosti vzniknú na všetkých pracovných úrovniach, od operátorov/ky, cez profesijných expertov, administratívne a inžinierske pozície po vedúcich tímov. K náboru prispievajú aj samotní zamestnanci vďaka programu za odporučenie a odmene vo výške 250 eur.
Priemerný mesačný plat operátora/ky výroby začína na úrovni 1 235 eur brutto s praxou a 1 198 – 1 235 eur brutto pre operátora bez praxe. Tvorí ho základný tarifný plat, kompetenčný príplatok, mesačný výrobný bonus 0-15%, 13. plat a 20 eur príspevok na dopravu. Spomedzi benefitov má vysokú obľubu program voliteľných benefitov v hodnote 300 eur, bezplatná autobusová doprava alebo príspevok 20 eur mesačne na inú dopravu, stravovanie v jedálňach za 1 euro , možnosť ubytovania, 100% hradené zdravotné a úrazové poistenie, príspevok do 3% na doplnkové dôchodkové sporenie, 100 eur na regeneráciu po odpracovaní dvanástich po sebe nepretržitých mesiacov. May 27, 2022, Nitra: The Jaguar Land Rover plant in Nitra currently produces premium Land Rover Discovery, Defender 90 and 110 and the Defender Hard Top utility vehicle for customers in 127 countries. A completely new model from the Land Rover family, the 8-seater Defender 130, which will also be produced in Nitra, will be unveiled worldwide on 31 May.
Russell Leslie, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Slovakia and head of the Nitra plant, commented on this innovation and other related topics: “Growing demand for our products and the expansion of the models we will produce here will strengthen our team. We plan to increase it by another seven hundred employees, and we would start operating the plant in three shifts from September. ”A total of 4,500 people should work at the Nitra plant in the autumn.
The main focus in new positions is on production sites. New job opportunities will arise at all levels of work, from operators through professional experts, administrative and engineering positions to team leaders. The employees themselves also contribute to the recruitment activities thanks to a referral program and a reward of 250 euros.
The average monthly salary of a production operator with experience starts at 1 235 euros gross, for operator without experience it is 1 198 – 1 235 euros gross. It consists of a basic tariff salary, a competence surcharge, a monthly production bonus of 0-15%, a 13th salary and a transport allowance of 20 euros. Among the benefits, the program of optional benefits worth 300 euros, free bus transport or a contribution of 20 euros per month for other transport means, meals in canteens for 1 euro, accommodation options, 100% paid health and accident insurance, contribution up to 3% for supplementary pension savings, 100 euros for regeneration after working for 12 consecutive months. Emphasis is placed on the social agenda, the involvement of employees in decision-making and management across all levels, as well as the possibility of career development. Thanks to the plant´s own Training Academy and training team, Jaguar Land Rover is able to prepare its candidates well, they do not necessarily have experience in the automotive industry. Working in a car factory is also interesting for women, who currently make up a third of their employees.

Job opportunities are open to all who meet the criteria, as well as to the people of Ukraine; Since April, Jaguar Land Rover in Nitra has employed several dozen employees from Ukraine, who have found refuge in Nitra and the possibility of a new beginning.
